Targeted plasma energy to stimulate fibroblast activity and firmness.

Plasma fibroblast firming treatment in clinical light

Plasma fibroblast treatment uses controlled electrical arc energy to create micro-points of plasma gas on the skin surface, stimulating the underlying fibroblast cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin. The result is a localised tightening and smoothing effect without the need for incisions or injectable fillers.

Targeted plasma energy stimulates fibroblast cell activity

Non-surgical approach to visible skin laxity and fine lines

Particularly effective around the eyes, mouth, and jawline

Results build progressively as new collagen forms over 6–8 weeks

Why Royal Cosmetic Clinic

Three reasons clients choose Plasma Fibroblasts.

Plasma Fibroblasts is delivered with the same measured clinical standard applied across all Royal Cosmetic Clinic treatments — precise, planned, and focused on natural-looking outcomes.

Firming

Non-surgical skin tightening

Controlled plasma energy triggers a fibroblast response that gradually tightens lax skin in targeted areas without surgery.

Lines

Softened fine lines

Precision treatment of fine lines around the eyes and mouth supports a gradual and natural-looking smoothing effect.

Precision

Targeted zone treatment

Plasma energy can be applied precisely to specific concern areas, making it suitable for delicate facial zones like the eyelid and lip border.

Suitability

Is this treatment right for you?

A private consultation will confirm suitability. Plasma fibroblast is commonly considered for:

Skin laxity around the eyes, neck, or jawline

Fine lines around the mouth or eyes

Loose or hooded upper eyelid skin

Those seeking a non-surgical tightening alternative

Clients wanting localised precision treatment of specific lines

Those who have completed a full consultation and assessment

Final suitability is confirmed during your private consultation. Your clinician will review your medical history, skin type, and treatment goals before any plan is agreed.

How it works

What happens during your Plasma Fibroblasts session.

Clinical assessment

A detailed consultation maps the treatment zones, reviews medical history, and confirms suitability. Skin type and tone are assessed to determine appropriate intensity settings.

Topical anaesthesia

A topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area and left to activate for 30–45 minutes for maximum comfort.

Grid marking

Treatment dots are precisely mapped and marked on the skin to ensure even coverage and consistent results across the target zone.

Plasma treatment

The plasma pen is applied to each marked point, creating controlled micro-plasma arcs that stimulate the underlying fibroblast layer.

Aftercare and follow-up

A calming balm is applied to the micro-crusts. Aftercare instructions cover the 7 to 10-day healing window and SPF requirements for 4 weeks post-treatment.

Recovery and results

Recovery and results

Plasma fibroblast has a more visible recovery phase than most other face treatments.

Small carbon micro-crusts form at treatment points and are expected

Swelling — particularly around the eyes — may occur for 2–4 days

Micro-crusts shed naturally within 7–10 days; do not pick or remove

Progressive tightening continues for 6–8 weeks as collagen forms

Full results are typically visible at 8–12 weeks post-treatment

Result language

Honest expectations, calm clinical imagery.

Clinical imagery is presented with honesty — consented, realistic, and without overpromising. Individual results vary and are discussed fully at consultation.

Private case review

Case studies are reviewed in consultation.

Treatment examples are shared only when they are clinically relevant, consented, and useful for setting realistic expectations.

Plasma Fibroblasts FAQs

Clear answers before you book.

These answers are intentionally general. Your consultation gives the clinic the detail needed to make the final recommendation for your skin.

Many clients achieve their desired result in a single session. For more pronounced laxity, a second session may be recommended 8 to 12 weeks after the first to allow full healing and collagen remodelling before re-treatment.

Immediately after treatment, small carbon dots — similar in appearance to tiny brown freckles — form at each plasma point. These are part of the normal healing process and shed naturally within 7 to 10 days without scarring.

Plasma fibroblast is not a medical surgery and cannot replicate the results of a surgical blepharoplasty. However, for clients with mild to moderate hooding or laxity who prefer a non-surgical route, it can produce meaningful and visible improvement. Your clinician will give you an honest assessment of expected outcomes during consultation.

Plasma treatment is not suitable during pregnancy, for those on isotretinoin, or for those with active skin infections in the treatment area. Keloid scarring history, pacemakers, and certain other medical conditions will also be assessed during consultation.

Results from plasma fibroblast treatment are long-lasting, as the new collagen formed during healing is a structural skin change. However, the natural ageing process continues, and maintenance sessions can be planned 12 to 24 months after initial treatment to preserve results.
